Training for ctcLink

Below you will find courses arranged by four employee categories:

  • Finance and Administrative
  • Human Resources and Payroll
  • Instructional (including faculty)
  • Student Services

If you don’t fit into one of those categories, see the All Other Employees grouping.

After clicking on your employee category, you will see a common core of courses that is suggested for all employees in that category. Additional courses are recommended for employees in specific functions/roles. The goal is to make it easier for employees to know which training they should complete.

How to Register for Training Courses

  1. Go to the ctcLink Training Registration page (opens new tab on the SBCTC website).
  2. Complete the registration. For Institution, choose Highline College from the pull-down menu. For Email Address, enter your Highline email address (e.g., deltadog@highline.edu).
  3. Select the courses you would like to register for. We have created a handy guide to help, based on employee type and function. See the Recommended Training by Employee Type and Function/Role section below.
  4. When you next log in to Canvas, the training courses you selected will be available under your course list.

Note: When you log in to Canvas your MyHighline Username is the first part of your Highline email address (e.g., deltadog) and your Password is your Highline password.
